“I am so grateful to everyone here for your honesty, humor and inspiration. I did not take a photo or measurements before the 10-day (other than weight) so I thought I would discuss my full journey on BBD and being a fan of Dr. Kellyann.
The “before” photo is from May of 2015 – I really don’t have any for the 2 years after that because I was even more sick, tired and heavy. The “after” photo is this morning, after completing the 10-day challenge. I found the 10-day to be a fun break, and I am going back to the full 21-day program today!
I began the BBD in May of 2017. In 7 1/2 months I have lost 42 pounds and I am wearing a size 10 petite again (okay, it’s Talbots “curvy” style but that counts, I am sure). My blood sugar is normal, cholesterol is fantastic. I am jogging at least an hour every morning on the beach. My energy level is better than when I was in my 20’s. I just turned 66. I have not been perfect re: staying on track – I still have a glass of wine when at a restaurant with friends! But for the most part, this way of eating is easy. I’d like to let go of another 20 pounds, but even if I don’t I will stay with the BBD! ”
