Still wondering what to cook for everyone over the holiday season? With auto-immune issues affecting one in five people, and all kinds of dietary restrictions around your table, it can make the chief cook-and-bottle-washer NUTS!
I’m seriously blessed. I break bread with an amazing group of friends and family who are all totally on board with the food I force on them (uh, I mean, present to them).
But I’ve been in plenty of sticky situations when it comes to holiday entertaining, so I change up the menu by swapping out SAD foods (Standard American Diet foods), for foods that are more primal — Paleo foods.
You can do this type of swapping with just about anything, including holiday fare — proteins, sides, soups, salads and sweets and treats. You can adapt them fairly easily to accommodate pretty much any restriction.
All of these traditional recipes are made without dairy, gluten, soy, processed stuff, or pantry products with sneaky ingredients that no one can understand. Here, I present straight-up, traditional foodie-food for your holiday table.
I hope I’m making your holiday menu planning easier. That’s what I’m here for — to give you solid intel and shortcuts. As always, I’m on it!
Enjoy this succulent feast…
Keep thinking big and living bold!
