“Suddenly” Happens

Written by Dr. Kellyann Petrucci

suddenly-happensDo you believe in “suddenly?”

This has been one of the most unbelievable weeks of my life, and I would love to share with you how things “suddenly” happened.

I’ve said a number of times, when you are on the right path, the puzzle pieces start fitting together. It’s against natural law for them not to. The trick to getting to this point is not giving up. No matter what. Now, while it’s one thing to believe this tenet, it’s a whole other thing to experience it.

What many people don’t realize is that I’ve had 20 rejections for every win. I’ve had disappointments, setbacks, and frustrations, and I’ve worked so many hours straight I’ve practically fallen asleep standing up. I’ve had many people tell me, “It’s time to give up now.” But throughout the kicks, punches, and hurdles, something has to keep you going because when you feel beaten down, the other side of your purpose will start looking very attractive.

What I’ve found recently is that if you can make it through the worst of times (which I’ve been through in the past year in spades) without losing faith or your attitude, you will be guided in the direction of your purpose. You just have to trust this. It’s almost as if you get a final exam before you get to go to the next level. The final exam is of course you being tested in some way to show your grit and just how badly you want whatever you’re shooting for.

When I think back to this week, I’m still left feeling like somehow I walked onto a movie set. My two girlfriends who travelled with me this week to help me with what I thought was the reason why I came to New York still look shell-shocked from the excitement.

I was whisked, whirled from one meeting to another – totally unexpected. I also saw this week not only how your faith and belief can play out in your future, but how people around you – when they truly believe in you – can give you incredible power and momentum.

It was a week of elevation. It was a week of pure creativity and understanding how to be as relevant as possible. It was a week of tears.

What does all this have to do with you?

My job is to help you live every drop of your purpose before you die. In order to do that, you have to be strong, you have to feel beautiful from the inside out, and you have to understand what foods and lifestyle practices are going to create agelessness and longevity. You have to feel power radiating all around you.

My purpose has been to find ways to bring you this information as authentically and joyfully as possible. This week… one step closer.

I have many friends and patients who tell me their purpose is watching their children flourish – my favorite purpose of all. Here’s a great way to find something fun to do with your kiddos, without dousing them with artificial muck. These taste great and are so darn cute!

Check out my Halloween Creepy Crawlers…. They are awesome!

Keep thinking big and living bold!
